What you get

TierWhat it covers
Weekender · £49One day, up to 24 players, one session.
Cup · £149Up to three days, up to 40 players, the clubhouse board, full branding, sponsors.
Society Season · £299 a yearUnlimited events for one society for twelve months, plus an order of merit across them.
Charity · freeEverything in Cup, at no cost, for a registered charity’s event.
Setup service · £100We build one event for you, with a named contact until it finishes. On top of the event fee, not instead of it.

Prices include VAT where it applies. There are no per-player fees on any tier, and there never will be — a player is never asked for money to enter a score.

Paying

You can build an entire event for nothing. Publishing it is what opens the invite links, score entry and the board, and that is the point where an event has to be entitled — by payment, or by a code. Card payment is not open yet; today entitlement comes from a code we issue. When card payment launches, Stripe will process it.

  • A one-off event fee covers that event once.
  • Society Season is a yearly subscription and renews automatically until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from your own Stripe billing portal.
  • The setup service is a one-off charge against one event. Buying it does not publish that event or pay its fee.
  • A promotional or charity code applies at the point of publishing and grants the same rights without a charge.

The setup service

£100 including VAT buys the building of one event. You send us your players and their handicaps, the formats and days you want, your colours and any sponsors; we enter it all, build the sessions and the draw, and put your branding on it. You check it over and publish it yourself — we do not publish an event on your behalf.

  • We will make contact within one working day of the payment, at the email address that paid.
  • One named contact stays with your event by email until it finishes.
  • It covers one event. A second event is a second £100.
  • It does not include somebody attending or running scoring on the days themselves.
  • We can only build what you send us. If the player list arrives the night before, the timing is what it is.

If we have not been in touch within two working days, ask for it back and we will refund it in full without an argument. Once the event has been built, the service has been delivered and the fourteen-day right to change your mind is used up — the same rule as publishing an event.

Refunds

You have fourteen days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you have already published the event and people have started scoring, that right is used up, because you have had the service.

Beyond that: if the software fails you on the day — the board will not load, scores will not save — tell us and we will refund the event. We would rather refund an event than argue about one.

Your content

Team names, crests, cover photos, sponsor logos and player names are yours. You keep ownership. You give us permission to store them and to display them on your event's pages, board and share graphics, which is the only way the product can work.

You are responsible for having the right to use what you upload. Do not upload a club crest, a sponsor logo or a photograph of somebody without permission.

What organisers are responsible for

  • Entering players fairly and having their agreement to be listed on a public event page.
  • Having permission from a parent or guardian for any player under 18.
  • The handicaps you enter. We calculate from what you give us; we cannot verify anyone’s index.
  • Settling disputes on the course. The app flags a disputed hole and gives you the tools; the decision is yours.

What we are responsible for

Keeping the service running, keeping your data safe, and calculating scores correctly from what you enter. We aim for the service to be available whenever you need it, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we are not liable for a phone with no signal or a clubhouse television that will not cast.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid for that event. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud, because it cannot.

Fair use

Do not use Golf Sessions to run something that is not a golf event, to store data you have no right to, or to abuse other people on it. We can suspend an account that does. We will tell you why.

Ending it

You can delete an event or close your account at any time. We can end an account that breaks these terms, and will refund any event you have paid for but not yet run.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. See also our privacy policy.
